DECORATING BOOKS are my Porn! - My Top 5 Favorite!

I ADORE decorating books, 

I cannot get enough of them.

They make me happy...

they are my porn.

 I take them to bed with me, read them in the bathroom... 

take them on trips and to the beach.

Combine decorating books with  decorating magazines and you

have 85% of what I read. 
sad..maybe...but true.

I find it ironic, and encouraging

 that despite the recent untimely demise
 of so many 
 INCREDIBLE
 Home and Decorating magazines, 

(the death of "DOMINO" hit me the hardest), 

Home and Decorating Books
are in fact thriving!

Perhaps with the assistance  of  
DIY and Home Decor TV shows and Blogs and Websites, they are
sticking out their tongues at the economy ...and
emerging strong and spectacular!

The Decorators and Designers in all of us

are gaining confidence and crave resources 
... especially ones that we can hold in our
busy little hands!

maybe this will be in MY book someday...
an early work of my dear daughter,
I love that all of our initials are in the clouds...

There are SO many wonderful books out there..
and there is something for every budget and every aesthetic:
Traditional, Modern, Shabby and Shiny
Flea Market and Showroom,
Worldly and Country...to 
Glamour and Green...
and everything in between.

LOVE the blog...now Style me! ORGAnize me!

3. The Perfectly Imperfect Home
The cover alone is insane!
The ART blows my mind!!! Domino Domino Domino!!!
I seriously may cry when I open this one!

4.Decorate
..need I say more!
The list of contributors is like a who's who of design,
seriously talk about a well rounded resource...

...and 

5. UNDecorate
Two words...
REAL LIFE and Dwell Studio - 

Genius. have you seen my bedroom..I LOVE Dwell Studio,
I have the same Dwell Studio  print in 3 colors in my house!
I absolutely cannot wait!


So this will be a years worth of reading!!!
...or at least they will keep me entertained
  as I recuperate from my ski injury
I am a terrible patient I  have a hard time just resting...
 but I honestly cannot think of a better way to keep me sitting down
and giving my body a rest!
and I can't wait to share them with you!
