My Old Country House Shoe Mould Coat Rack!

Today's post is short and sweet..

 I have missed my blog!
In all the Thanksgiving traveling
and hoopla, and in my preparations for
My dear  Friend from High School...
Jill
hosts an
Annual Holiday Craft and Wares show and sale
the first Thursday on December.
I have been remiss in my blog posting. BUT
I will definitely be sharing more details on that fun day!

A few years ago, I was looking for an inventive and artistic way to hang the millions...
 (okay maybe not that many)
...of coats which usually end up on our hall floor.
Like I have described before, our
upstairs and downstairs
 hallways
ARE the mudrooms,
but they are also more visible
that traditional mudrooms and thus
I do not have the luxury of just shutting the door
so we don't see ALL the STUFF!!!
...JUST SO MUCH STUFF!!

This awesome coat rack was made...
 by attaching vintage shoe moulds
onto an old recycled plank of wood.
Then I painted it with Benjamin Moore's
Fairy Tale Blue
I love it so much!!!

The shoe mould coat rack hangs in our upstairs hall.
It is as practical as it is gorgeous!

Have a GREAT WEEK and I will see you after
Jill's Craft show!!!

...and...coming soon...the NEWLY
PAINTED PEW!!!
