SEPTEMBER 11 BABY

I have heard 
that it can feel like a gyp to have your birthday on a "Holiday"

That the child that shares their Birthday with Christmas often feels short changed...
and such...

Fortunately for Spring and Fall babies...the  Holidays hop around,
Spring Babies

 might have a few Easter Birthdays in their lifetime
or late November babies and  Thanksgiving....
but that almost makes it more special...

But for my youngest son, born on September 11, 2000

Phoebe and Tate meeting their new baby brother...

and whose FIRST Birthday fell on the 

BAD DAY...

His has always been a very extra Ordinary BIRTH day.

ONE

It takes a pretty Special guy.....to know that his birthday is a day

that makes many people sad...

and to know that your day is associated with such atrocities...
and yet, to rise above it all,

to find the JOY that goes on.
 HE brings such joy into so many lives...

Coops and his Birthday serve to affirm...
..how LIFE....

.....that force that cannot be stopped...

even when it IS stopped...
PICKS ITSELF RIGHT BACK UP AND 

goes on...and on....and on....and on....

Today we celebrate 

a VERY important DAY in our family

AND 

we honor those families all over the world...

....who were forever changed...11 years ago.
