IT WAS HARDER THAN I THOUGHT
it would be to document and LIVE my vacation at the same time
as so I opted to

The first day of our Vacation was my Birthday and
in New York
....as a Birthday Gift, my daughter played photographer
which for me who is always BEHIND the camera, not in front
It was wonderful to sit back and enjoy knowing my aging memory
will have photos down the line to jog it out of sleep.

My father in law has "connections" and so we are always on the
back stretch side...which I LOVE
with the riders and trainers and some owners

though I do love the other side, with the pretty hats and cocktails...
especially the cocktails...

What a fun way to spend your vacation! I have driven through Sarasota on my way to upstate NY but haven't been able to stop and enjoy it yet! What a great spot and I'm dying to go to the horse races some day...sign me up for a $9 win...a win is a win!
