YELLOW IS A HAPPY.... COLOR-SNEAK PEEK

Yellow is my husbands favorite color. 

I like it too and sometimes, I LOVE it.

lately I have been a bit CRAZY in love with it..

remember the recently painted Fireplace cover?

I am also

 crushing on red and navy...and charcoal....

...deeper colors I usually do not normally gravitate toward...

hmmm...I wonder? maybe it is just the upcoming July 4 FEVER!
or maybe I am in the mood for a burger...

This week, to satisfy my obsession, 

 I have been doing some more 

making over of the dining room accessories:

I painted the hutch (later)

I finally got my new lamp...(more on that later)

I spray painted a side chair yellow

 and reupholstered the 3 upholstered 

seat cushions

in a deep navy Houndstooth..

Oh,  have I mentioned..

I am SUPER NUTS about houndstooth?!!

I will buy houndstooth fabric with no project in mind.

and then make up a project to justify it.

I am contemplating a houndstooth rug for somewhere...

where? boys room? maybe.

I am saving a full photo session for the arrival of my new canon lens...
